Mariposa Butterfly Canvas Chair Select a frame:Chrome and finished with a mattLa Mariposa, or the Butterfly Chair, was originally designed in Buenos Aires in 1938 by Jorge Ferrari Hardoy, along with Antonio Bonet and Juan Kurchan. This classic chair is also known as the Hardoy chair or BKF chair after its creators. In the late 1990's Lars Kjerstadius created the most comfortable and well proportioned version of this chair design to date. By making changes to the original open design Lars made a chair that was better suited to
