Peaker Fly Reel 4 1/4" 8' Leonard 39-5 fly rodA rare Peaker saltwater fly reel, 4 1 4" diameter and set up for RHW. Only a small number of these reels were made in California in the mid to late 1980's, inspired by John Emery's saltwater reels, and this is serial #24. The spool width is approximately 1 1 8". Direct drive with a cork drag reminiscent of those by Fin Nor and Seamaster. Black anodized throughout with a ported spool that's suitable for palming and on the frame plate we have "Peaker"
