Cage, Wonderful Antique Hand-dyed Wool Needlepoint Tapestry, Mounted to Stretcher mouse drawing I have also found "muffineers"The soft palette on this hand dyed wood needlepoint tapestry really does it for me, reminding me a lot of early Grenfell Mission hooked rugs but of course it is the cat and mouse and cage that charmed the socks of me! A bit hard to tell whether that mouse is trapped in the cage or climbing up the side as if on a jungle gym, which makes me glad! (The cat though certainly looks to me to have a sort of quietly, keenly watching while waiting to pounce
