with one visible scratch over the pansy at top center right and a few other scattered smaller stains and scratches and some rusting on the backside rim

Great Old Handmade Wooden Cash Till Chinese porcelain but would equally be greatThis one seems straight out of a old general store to me, and as though it saw plenty of use receiving and dolling out change. I love the look of the metal linings at either end against the wood, pine I believe, and the mix of small hand forged iron nails all over. Great now for stashing coins (should those still be part of one's life!) or stamps and mail or desk supplies or whatever. Looking at also makes me think of being a kid and wanting to play
