The inkwell features the original finely moulded horses, pulling a carriage containing two inkwells formed of Baccarat glass, upon which sit the original lids held in place by the chains connected to the ornate rear mirror, above which sits a pen rest; all in original condition. The whole piece sits upon a white marble slab. There is a loss to the rim of one
