The tomb had an inscription, Pax Tecum Filumena Peace be with you, Philomena. It contained the bones of an adolescent girl. The tiles of her tomb showed Christian symbols: two anchors, three arrows, a palm leaf, and a lily. The first three symbols of martyrdom, the last of purity.
