Scarce Antique German "Art of Parqueter" Set yellow cups and saucers though I might have guessedI ALWAYS have an eye out for old parquetry sets but only very very rarely do I come across one; to me they're like Froebel kindergarten blocks crossed with color cubes crossed with an old wooden puzzle, and just so pretty. This one I believe dates to the late 19th century and was produced in Germany (for international distribution), and I believe, based on another similar I found a few years ago, would have had two complete layers worth of double
