RL Winston Bamboo Fly Rod 7' 2/2 #4 8'6" The rod weighs 3 1/2A very nice R. L. Winston bamboo fly rod, 7, 2 piece, 2 tip, and built for a #4 line. Serial #1972, an early Montana rod made by Tom Morgan and Glenn Brackett. 3. 3 oz on my scale. Very nice D. F. action. Modestly used condition. Slight hand soiling to the grip and the start of a casting crack at the ferrule wrap of only one tip. The rod is straight and the ferrules fits are smooth.
