There is a felt pad glued to the bottom

I don't believe much older than that

this would make a perfect housewarming or wedding gift

but it's not surprising that over the past nearly 200 years some have been lost

I've since discovered this particular tin, produced 1940 42 or so, is quite a rare one (I found one listed at $100!), and one which Johnson and Johnson
