The influence of the rejuvenated red wine casks really shines through especially when bottled at a cask strength of 59. 8% intensifying the flavours. Maritime and red fruit aromas are followed by grape, red berry, peat, spice and earthy flavours. The long finish is fruity again with spice and a great smokiness.
