I especially love the gently tapering shape with rounded tip at one end

but never have I seen a complete set like this

in this case documenting two prize roosters (I believe roosters rather than hens but I could be wrong) bred by a M

Old Wood and Steel Kangaroo Toy Mold antique lead soldier I only recently came acrossI've found a few old toy molds over time similar in construction to this one described by the seller as a cat, but I think surely meant to be a kangaroo? and find them quite evocative things, with these bolts and screws protruding on all sides, so always grab them when I see them. I especially like the pencil drawn eye on the wooden side of this guy. And how the ears could also read as an open beak tweeting at the sky. The mold side is still entirely
