though there has been a bit of debate here about whether it might be a dog

and whoever made it had a really great eye in addition to investing a great deal of labor and care into every inch of it

and this may be my favorite of them yet

Two Little German Erzgebirge Horned Cows seaweed smaple five layers deepJust a little carved pair of German Ergebirge cows because who can ever have too many little animals? I'd guess these two may have been part of a Noah's ark set, though maybe a barnyard set, and like that they feel very much like a couple, one a little taller and bigger, and with slightly larger dots for eyes! Approx 2" t x 2 3 4" l and in great condition, definitely with some age. The horns were carved from a separate piece of wood then attached.
