The blue purple flower color of this bulb is difficult to convey in pictures, but extremely beautiful in person. Unlike its larger relative, Worsleya procera, which I've also grown, this bulb is very easy to grow and bloom, even as a houseplant. It multiples readily by offsets and the flowers are such an amazing payoff for so little work! The broad leaves are lush and slightly pleated which completes the year round
