of water streaming around rocks

and I might guess she dates from the 30s or 40s

and then I believe gold foil on the cutout bit just above

Lovely Zane Ware Arts and Crafts Pottery Bowl in Painterly Blue and Cream vases 2 5/8 x 3 1/8I love the form of a bulb bowl, low and with gracefully rounded lip, but it is the painterly blue and cream glazing on this one that really makes it for me. Gorgeous, like the swirling sea and clouded sky at once. Stamped ZaneWare on the underside, it dates to the 1920s I believe, when Peters and Reed Pottery of Zanesville, Ohio changed their name to Zane Pottery Company. 6 5 8" d x 2" t. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks or stains.
