I just really like this particular embroidered girl, looking so pensive as she sits on her unseen chair or stool, as if watching and waiting for the arrival of something or someone. I've gone back and forth as to what it is she has in her hands and lap a leash? (and so implying it a dog she is waiting for), or a sewing hoop? jump rope? or a bowl and whisk, making
