when hard-shelled electric miner's cap lamps began to replace canvas caps with brackets to which oil lamps attached

perhaps under his breath

I think one could invent all sorts of games to play with them, but also nice just to look at! Box measures 4 3 8" x 2 15 16" x 1 1 8". All in good shape, complete deck.
