R.L. Winston Steelhead Bamboo Rod - Lew Stoner 9'6" 2/1 5 1/2 oz 6'8" A rare findFor sale here is a Lew Stoner made R. L. Winston bamboo fly rod 9'6" 5 1 2 oz. for an eight weight line. Serial no. 5951 made in 1945. The rod is in excellent original condition with one exception. It appears the original owner's name has been removed and replaced by another name. All sections are full length and straight. Beautiful pumpkin toned cane with bronze colored wraps. The winding check, ferrules, and tip top are wrapped with bronze and black
