The focus on draw and discard for the pump effects means that, while this deck runs a lot of instants and sorceries, it's not reliant on those to pump like a Prowess deck would be

My original inspiration for this deck came from the idea of building a $0.99 paper EDH deck

Each has their own place at high level play with full mastery of their intricacies, so while there may be better decks within the game, dont be afraid to play something different if you think it looks interesting and fun
