It has a traditional shirt collar and a loose fitting body, and fastens with delicate mother of pearl buttons concealed under a simple front placket. We have added volume in the sleeves, draping to a fitted cuff. The garment is French seamed throughout. The Celestial Steed was inspired by Italian Renaissance paintings and cultural events alongside beliefs and attitudes of the era;
