The quintessential 1950s skirt style, this lovely example has triangular inset panels from hips to hem, to add even more swingy width at the hem. The narrow, fitted waistband fastens with hooks and eyes, and the skirt has a metal side zipper. As is often the case with 1950s felt skirts, the hem has been trimmed rather than hemmed up, since folding the felt adds
