Smugglers Reserve Overproof Rum is inspired by the events of 14 August 1815, when the brig Andrew Savage, originally from Portaferry, ran aground laden with fine rum from Belfast Bay in Antigua. Copeland Smugglers Reserve Overproof Rum is double pot distilled and matured in both Bourbon and Pinot Noir casks with only 600 bottles released. This rum has notes of chocolate and honeyed spices with undertones of orange zest and oaky vanilla.
