Horton Meek 55 with agate line guide 7'11" The second Wheatley box isFor sale here is a classic Meek 55 fly reel made by the Horton Manufacturing Company in Bristol, Connecticut. Serial number 2196. Unblemished agate line guide and nickel silver spool latch with spiral knurling. Excellent original condition with very little spindle spool movement and a very tight check designed for RHW (consistent with the placement of the agate line guide). It's hard to find these reels in such fine condition.
