Many children have consumed the story of "Sleeping Beauty" through the Disney lens. The original story in Grimm's is called "The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood", where Briar Rose falls into a 100 year sleep and is saved and awakened by the hero prince. In my rendition, the prince was just a little too late.
