1883 First-Year-of-Issue Liberty Nickel Goldtone Coin Money Clip pocket knife One cuff link shows theThe Liberty Head Nickel was first minted in 1883 and is composed of copper and nickel. The obverse shows Liberty wearing a coronet and wreath and the reverse is a V representing the Roman numeral 5 and a wreath. The design was created by Charles Barber. The first year of issue is handsomely displayed in a gold tone money clip. The money clip is approximately 1 7 8 inches long. A Certificate of Authenticity is included.
